New Serial Novels by Three Leaf Publishing Go High-Tech and Online
PHOENIX, Ariz. — Three Leaf Publishing will launch its latest online serial novel, The Ace of Spades, by Phoenix author Brian Powell on Thursday, Sept. 18 on both Flipboard and threeleafpublishing.com.
The Phoenix-based story takes Hugh Quinn to some of the city’s most famous, and lesser-known, locales as he starts to realize that not everything is quite as it appears. This is the second original serial novel series from the innovative publishing house. The Penthouse, by author Liam Wendell, began Dec. 3 and is nearing the dramatic conclusion of its 30-installment story.
Three Leaf Publishing is using Flipboard to release weekly suspenseful installments of its micro novels. Instead of turning the page, swipe your finger to read the new online weekly chapters of fiction. Then anxiously wait for it to unfold the following week.
Readers can expect dramatic and suspenseful stories that trigger the anticipatory question, “What’s next?”
“The public is bombarded with hard news every day via blogs, online news, and social media posts, so they’re learning more about the world and those around us which is great,” said Jeremy Veatch, principal of Three Leaf Publishing. “But sadly, they enjoy written, or in this case typed, fiction less and less.”
The serialized stories aim to encourage more fiction reading by introducing it through smaller increments than the public is now accustomed to.
The tech-savvy publishing house encourages readers to pause their Google searches and blog linkbacks and enter into the story as it unfolds.
